Dear farmer, we know this is a very challenging period in which for "sustainability" you have often, quite rightly, also thought about your survival.
Your farm is fighting against difficulties which, we hope, have made you stronger and more convinced about what you do every day to contribute to feeding our community.
Milk, butter, yoghurt, cream, cheese... are all part of our traditions, culture and joy of eating.
For this reason, today, 1st June 2020, SOP would like to celebrate World Milk Day with you.
We know very well about the passion and dedication you put into the production of milk every day and it is for this reason that, since 2001, we have been studying and testing products and solutions to help farmers improve the quality and quantity of their production and, at the same time, drastically reduce the environmental impact of their activities: reduction of enteric methane and ammonia from the liquid manure, improvement of the feed conversion ratio, reduction of pathogens, etc.
Together, true sustainability is increasingly possible.
A 2 year study, carried out by the Università degli Studi di Milano and presented at the European Society of Veterinary & Comparative Nutrition, on 1,357 dairy cows on 7 farms, has demonstrated how SOP STAR COW can improve milk quality parameters and give an average INCREASE of 1.35 kg of milk, per head, A DAY.
This, too, is real "Sustainability".
