From the day SOP was founded, there has always been a highly specialized scientific team, made up of engineers, chemists, agronomists, animal nutritionists, biologists and veterinarians all with proven experience in the sector on an international level, working daily towards the validation and constant improvement of all the applications of SOP's proprietary technology.
At the heart of SOP's Technical Scientific Team are 5 key figures:
Biomedical Engineer (Polytechnic University of Milan) and Chemical Engineer (Stockholm University). With over 10 years of international experience in Research & Development and a speaker at international events, he is the head of R&D at SOP.

Animal nutritionist and agronomist, with over 30 years of experience in the office and in the field of the agrifood sector.
He has collaborated, over the years, with numerous farms within this sector and has made in-depth studies into their dynamics.
At SOP, he is a speaker, trainer and ruminant manager.

Agronomist, with 30 years of international experience (in the office and in the field) in 17 countries, on 4 different continents. Since 1996, he has been registered on the "Albo Dei Consulenti Tecnici" (Register of Technical Consultants) for the Court of Vicenza. At SOP he is a speaker, trainer and agriculture manager.

With a PhD in Agricultural Ecology and a Masters degree in the Science of the Production and Protection of Plants, he has long been involved in research regarding the determination of ammonia and GHG emissions connected to agricultural activities in the open field. Author and co-author of scientific articles published in international specialist magazines, within the SOP R&D team, he deals with sustainable agriculture and manages relations with research institutes.

With over twenty years of international experience in the dairy and forage sectors, he has worked with SOP from the very beginning. He is a trainer, key account manager and is responsible for the entire Italian sales network, coordinating the team of technicians and salespeople.

For more than 15 years he has been assisting our customers and our sales network on a daily basis, especially regarding the dairy and forage sectors. He is our reference point for environmental hygiene and the management of loose yards/bedded packs and cubicles/stalls on the dairy farm.
