Pig Effluents

If the liquid manure is not fluid, crusts will automatically form on its surface, or sediment will be deposited under the slats. Furthermore, if the liquid manure is not homogenous, more energy will be required for agitation, pumping out and transport.

SOP has developed a product dedicated to pig effluents which help to fluidify, and maintain fluid, the liquid manure under the slats, in the loading pits and in the large storage pits. It helps reduce the odorous emissions, ammonia and green house gases (methane, nitrous oxide and carbon dioxide) from the liquid manure, both during storage and spreading on the fields.
